Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Supporters across the globe joined local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Local events featured a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos show thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
“I’m already thinking about the next championship we’re going to do this,” Shohei Ohtani remarked through an interpreter.
The parade route concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the team emerged to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ spinning music and the artist cruising a Pacific blue vintage Cadillac around the field.

Celebrations started well before the procession, with Dodgers fans lighting fireworks in the roads of the city center on the previous evening.
The World Series MVP, awarded the MVP of the championship, commented plainly about the win.
